Martin's Homeward Bound (Sailor Jerry) dreadnought acoustic guitar is named after the book on the life and times of Sailor Jerry, one of the most legendary American tattoo artists. Adding to this homage, it features some of his original artwork customized on the body and headstock, and has a body made of flamed koa, a tonewood that hails from the Hawaiian islands where he lived the majority of his adult life. Perfect for Americana music and flatpicking, it has a heavy bearclaw Sitka spruce top that offers powerful, focused tone. The comfortable, modified low oval neck is crafted from solid mahogany and topped with ebony inlaid with a custom shell and wood design.
