Performed in the Freespace Jazz Fest in Hong Kong in 2021, Jazzical was a playful 70-minute performance which Joyce she re-imagines some of her favourite works in the performance, including Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Debussy’s Claire de Lune and Chopin’s Fantaisie Impromptu.
This live recording of the performance, features Joyce Cheung and her 13-piece ensemble present a collection of familiar classical pieces with a contemporary twist.
